From here one can download Underworld in several formats:

• Packages: Precompiled packages for Ubuntu and Mac OSX. All Underworld dependencies are packaged with the installer so no compilation of Underworld and its dependencies are required.


• Source code tarball: Compressed copy of the Underworld source code. See Underworld Documentation for links to further instructions. This requires dependencies to be installed and the source code to be compiled using SCons.


• Repositories: A version-controlled copy of the Underworld source, for those intending to develop or extend Underworld. This requires dependencies to be installed and the source code to be compiled using SCons.
